STEP 1/8
Prepare six small potatoes, peel them, and rinse them under running water.
STEP 2/8
After putting potatoes in a pot, pour 700ml of water to cover the potatoes.
STEP 3/8
Add 0.8 tablespoons of coarse salt to the empty space.
STEP 4/8
Place 1 tablespoon of brown sugar in an empty space and place over high gas heat.
STEP 5/8
Remove the foam that rises with a spoon as the water boils under high gas heat.
STEP 6/8
After removing the foam, cover and simmer for about 25 minutes over medium gas heat.
STEP 7/8
After some time, open the lid of the pot and poke the potato with the chopsticks to see if the chopsticks are showing smoothly (if the chopsticks go in smoothly, the potato is well cooked)
STEP 8/8
Transfer deliciously boiled potatoes to a plate and you're done boiling potatoes in a pot. (Personally, I boiled them for about 25 minutes, so there was little water left in the pot, so please refer to it.)
Boiling time may vary depending on the size of the potato, but it usually cooks in about 25 to 30 minutes, and water may decrease significantly depending on the gas fire, so please check in the middle so that it does not burn.
When boiling potatoes, if you boil them with the skin, the skin prevents the potatoes from breaking, so you can boil them without peeling them.
