Convenient and delicious! Making Canned Kimchi with Mackerel
I sometimes make a simple braised mackerel using canned mackerel at home, but today I made a more delicious canned mackerel kimchi stew with ripe kimchi.

  • Kimchi

  • thick soy sauce

  • Sugar
    1T
  • crushed garlic
    0.5T
  • Water
    2~3cup
  • Red pepper powder
    1T
  • ginger powder
    1/3t
  • leek
    1handful
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/9
Prepare an onion by cutting it into bite-size pieces.
STEP 2/9
Put 2 heads of kimchi in a pot and 3 ladles of kimchi soup.
STEP 3/9
Pour water in here so that the kimchi is soaked.
STEP 4/9
Add 8T of soy sauce, 1T of sugar, and 0.5T of minced garlic.
STEP 5/9
Cover and boil over high heat until kimchi is cooked.
STEP 6/9
Please put in both cans of mackerel. I added all the soup to make it taste good.
STEP 7/9
I put all the sliced onions here and 1/3t of ginger powder to control the smell. Also, please add 1T of red pepper powder. Bring to a boil over high heat until onions are cooked.
STEP 8/9
When the onions are done, add a handful of green onions and cook for about a minute.

Delicious steamed mackerel canned kimchi is done.
