STEP 2/8
Place chopped onions, carrots, and chives in side dish container. Add all the seasoning for steamed eggplants.
STEP 3/8
Make the sauce for steamed eggplants in advance and let it cool in the refrigerator.
If you put the sauce in the refrigerator in advance, minced onions, carrots, and chives are seasoned and taste better.
STEP 4/8
Wash the eggplant clean, cut the tail, cut it 5cm apart, and cut it into a cross (+) shape.
STEP 5/8
When the water boils in the steamer, add the eggplant and steam for 5 minutes.
It's convenient to put it in a microwave steamer instead of a steamer and heat it for 3 minutes
STEP 6/8
When you pour the sauce on the eggplant, if you slightly spread the cross (+) cut on the eggplant as shown in the picture, the sauce will permeate the eggplant evenly
STEP 7/8
Pour the sauce over the steamed eggplant.
STEP 8/8
As you failed to cut the eggplant like me, it's delicious if you put the eggplant and the end of the eggplant in the sauce and put it in the refrigerator.
It's steamed eggplant that is steamed once and made pretty by combining sweet and sour sauce with soft eggplant. If you want to make eggplant side dishes more conveniently, it's good to make eggplant vertically and steam it and mix it with the sauce. When you make eggplant diet, if you reduce the amount of oligosaccharide in the sauce, you can eat it with diet rice, and you're done with sweet and sour eggplant side dishes!
