STEP 1/13
I prepared ingredients for mung bean jokbal soup. Mung beans are dried yellow beans, and jokbal is leftover delivery jokbal.
STEP 2/13
Wash mung beans three or four times and soak them in water for two hours. If you wash the soaked mung bean while rubbing it with both hands, the skin will float in the water. If you spill the skin, it will give you a cleaner mung bean wash.
STEP 3/13
I prepared the leftover jokbal.
STEP 4/13
I cut the green onions and prepared whole garlic.
STEP 5/13
Put jokbal, soaked mung bean, and whole garlic in a generous pot and pour 1.5L of water.
STEP 6/13
Cover at an angle over high heat and bring to a boil.
STEP 7/13
When it boils, reduce the heat to medium and remove the rising foam.
STEP 8/13
Cover diagonally and bring to a boil.
STEP 9/13
Stir occasionally.
STEP 10/13
Boil for about 30 minutes and season with salt.
STEP 11/13
I also added 2 tablespoons of cooking wine.
STEP 12/13
The concentration can be slightly thickened. It's done.
STEP 13/13
Put it in a bowl and enjoy it with chopped green onions and pepper.
It tastes better if you add a spoon of rice.
It's a nutritious meal made of leftover jokbal and mung bean.
