STEP 1/17
Before we make tteokbokki, we need to boil the eggs first I've cooked enough :)
STEP 2/17
The ingredients for tteokbokki are simple. You just need to put in a generous amount of green onion, and the rest are all rice cakes, fish cakes, and seasonings. It is said that it is much better if you make it with a lot of green onions without other ingredients such as onions, carrots, and cabbage. Tteokbokki and green onion go really well together, so it's definitely delicious~~
STEP 3/17
Cut the green onions into appropriate lengths, then cut them two or three times again to make them thinner.
STEP 4/17
Pour 2 tablespoons of cooking oil into a pot or pan and stir-fry all the green onions.
STEP 5/17
Stir-fry the green onions first and hold your breath, then make the sauce for the tteokbokki sauce.
STEP 6/17
If the green onion is dead, add 500 to 600ml of water. You can use plain water, but I chose broth. You can replenish the amount of water by boiling it down.
STEP 7/17
Add 2 tablespoons of fine red pepper powder. If you use a fine one, the seasoning sticks and the color of tteokbokki comes out red, so it looks more delicious. If you don't have anything fine, you can use regular red pepper powder
STEP 8/17
They put in 3 tablespoons of red pepper paste, but our red pepper paste seems salty, so I only put in 2 tablespoons. Add or decrease the seasoning to your liking
STEP 9/17
You can add 2 tablespoons of thick soy sauce, or you can add 1 half and half of thick soy sauce and 1 half of fish sauce. I added half-and-half fish sauce to add more flavor.
STEP 10/17
Add 3 spoons of sugar and the seasoning is done.
STEP 11/17
Add the boiled egg and boil it immediately so that the egg is marinated,
STEP 12/17
Add rice cake and fish cake together and boil it.
STEP 13/17
You just have to boil it down so that the soup becomes small, and the starch comes out of the rice cake and thickens, and the delicious taste from the fish cake makes the sauce taste better and better.
STEP 14/17
The sauce seems a little salty and strong in my mouth, so I added an onion to give it a subtle sweetness and flavor. I added more water and boiled it down a bit
STEP 15/17
Tteokbokki is done. There's a good amount of soup, and it's cooked thickly.
STEP 16/17
It's a very simple version of making tteokbokki, right? Stir-fry the green onions first, then add all the ingredients such as water, seasoning, rice cake, and fish cake, and just boil them down.
STEP 17/17
It's made with Yoon Yi-ryeon's tteokbokki sauce recipe, simple ingredients, and how to make it~ I like it because it's easy and delicious :) Make it delicious^^
