Perfect for dieting! Thai Shrimp Noodles Salad, Making Yumun Sen
The weather is warm these days Isn't it getting hotter? Suddenly! I feel the need to diet. Today, I'm going to introduce you to Thai food that can help you lose weight. It's called Yumun Sen. Yum means salad, and Unsen means mung bean noodles. It's literally a mung bean glass noodles salad. What's unique about this dish is that it's not a cold salad, but a warm warm salad! Chewy mung bean glass noodles have chubby shrimp, minced pork, and sour spicy dressing, so it's a good Thai glass noodle salad for a delicious and easy meal. Cooking Steps

The first thing to do is to boil the glass noodles. Soak in lukewarm water for at least 10 minutes.

Slice the shallots thinly. If you don't have it, you can replace it with onions.

Cut the lime into small pieces. If you don't have lime, you can use lemon. You can use the juice type one.

Chinese celery is originally used in Yumunsen. It tastes almost the same as the celery we eat, but it looks like Italian parsley or coriander. It's a little thin. So I cut it as thin as possible to make it look similar.

Shall we make the sauce now? First, add 1T of palm sugar. Add 1/2T if using sugar!

Put in 2T of fish sauce. I used a squeeze product, so you can use fish sauce.

Squeeze the lime tightly. If you use the juice type, you can add 3-4T.

While preparing the ingredients, the mung bean glass noodles would have gotten soggy. Blanch in boiling water for 1-2 minutes.

If you order yumunsen on the streets of Thailand, you can see noodles, shrimp, meat, and vegetables blanched like malatang. You can do that at home, but it would be better to cook it according to the ingredients, right?

The time for blanching depends on the size of the shrimp, right? Blanch it until it's cooked. It's a big shrimp, so I cooked it for about 5 minutes.

Blanch the minced pork, too.
