STEP 1/10
Rice paper has a square and a round shape. I used a round rice paper. Cut the seaweed into round shapes to fit the rice paper with scissors.
STEP 2/10
I put the leftover seaweed in a container to make seasoned seaweed as a side dish. I'll upload the recipe for seasoned dried laver. Don't throw away the seaweed!
STEP 3/10
Please prepare cold water for dipping rice paper. When you wrap Vietnamese rolls, you soak rice paper in warm water, but when you make seaweed chips, it is easier to dip it in cold water than warm water to shape it.
STEP 4/10
Add a little salt and sugar to the rice paper soaking water. Dip the rice paper in cold water
STEP 5/10
Stick it together with the round seaweed. Even if you don't try to stick it on, it sticks when you microwave it, so feel free to stick it on.
STEP 6/10
Heat the dried seaweed on the rice paper in the microwave. It's hard to cook evenly if you leave a lot of time at once, so I turned one side for 30 seconds and the other side for 20 seconds.
STEP 7/10
Please turn it around while checking the part where the steam dries well without shrinking too much. Please put the dried seaweed in the microwave so that it is well ventilated.
STEP 8/10
Cut it into bite-sized pieces. I divided one sheet into four pieces
STEP 9/10
You don't need to use a lot of olive oil in the frying pan. You can fry 2 or 3 sheets of seaweed chips. The frying time is between 5 and 10 seconds, and if you use medium heat and high heat, the seaweed chips burn quickly. When the rice paper is fried facing down, it rolls well and becomes a dried seaweed snack with white parts visible.
STEP 10/10
The fried seaweed flakes off the oil and puts it in a well-ventilated place
The shapes are all different! Triangle shape, round shape, wide shape, and various shapes of seaweed chips are fun to eat! Rather than frying, it was a bit cumbersome to microwave it. It's a process that doesn't! It's my first time making dried laver chips, but it's easier than I thought! Crunchy! Crunchy! I'm so touched! It's so savory and light that I thought I was going crazy because I couldn't let go of my hands! I should've made more! Kim Bugak! I left it for my son when he came back from the academy, but he kept looking at me because he wanted to eat it. Shall we prepare 100 sheets of seaweed next time! Crispy, savory, and light seaweed snacks, side dishes, and diet snacks are the best!
