Making Chicken Gomtang Noodles for Parents of the Moon of the Fa
These days, the weather suddenly gets cold and then hot, and my body feels empty. Since a long time ago, on days when we feel empty, we ate soup with chicken. Just like eating samgyetang in the heat of the summer, chicken soup and chicken soup are great for health. I was thinking about what to cook for my parents for Family Month, and I decided to give them chicken, but there was noodles at home. Noodles, or noodles, have always meant longevity, so on important or happy days, noodles were always served. I made chicken gomtang noodles because I thought it would fit the family month in many ways.

    2serving
  • Water
    1300ml
  • Salt
    1ts
  • chopped ginger
    1/2spoon
  • crushed garlic
    1/2spoon
  • leek
    1/2ea
  • onion
    1ea
  • thick soy sauce
    1spoon
  • Red pepper powder
    2spoon
  • crushed garlic
    1/2spoon
  • Cheongyang red pepper
    1/2ea
  • Sugar
    1/3spoon
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/19
I'll make the sauce first. Chop up the Cheongyang chili pepper that will go in small pieces.
STEP 2/19
And put all the seasoning ingredients including chopped Cheongyang red pepper in one place.
STEP 3/19
If you mix it well, the sauce is ready.
STEP 4/19
I'll officially start cooking the chicken soup. First, boil the chicken lightly. I'm going to remove the impurities.
STEP 5/19
When the water boils up, throw away all the boiled water and wash the chicken clean.
STEP 6/19
Place the impurity-removed chicken in a pot and add water 1. Think of the amount of water as filling with half a finger in the pot.
STEP 7/19
And add onions.
STEP 8/19
Add chopped ginger, please.
STEP 9/19
And boil it over high heat.
STEP 10/19
When the amount of water is reduced by one-third of the pot, add 2 water and simmer.
STEP 11/19
Add water twice and simmer 10 minutes later, remove the chicken and tear it into small pieces.
STEP 12/19
If you scoop out the chicken, there's only broth left. Season it with salt to suit your taste. Don't make it too salty because I'm going to put the sauce in it.
STEP 13/19
And add minced garlic.
STEP 14/19
Then add the shredded meat and simmer for 15 minutes.
If you do that, the chicken soup is done.
STEP 15/19
In the meantime, you have to boil the noodles. Boil the noodles in boiling water for 3 to 4 minutes.
STEP 16/19
Wash the well-cooked noodles in cold water and drain them to make them chewy.
STEP 17/19
If you eat it like this, the soup that you worked hard to boil will cool down by touching the cold noodles. And because the noodles themselves are not seasoned, they get bored and the deep taste disappears. So, repeat the process of pouring the boiled chicken soup into the noodles about 6 times. It's perfect if the noodles get warm.
STEP 18/19
Lastly, you can also prepare the green onions to garnish.
STEP 19/19
Put the chicken soup, green onion, and sauce on top of the noodles and it's done!
Add any ingredients you want, such as jujube or green onion, when you cook chicken soup. You can use noodles that you like, such as noodles, noodles, noodle soup, and udon noodles. You can use chicken with bones, not boneless chicken like me. The process of chicken with bones is the same.
