STEP 1/4
If tofu is thin, it will be crushed easily, so cut it into thick squares. Chop the onions and green onions, please.
STEP 2/4
Put sliced onions and green onions in a large bowl and remove the tuna oil and put them in a bowl. Red pepper powder, soy sauce, tuna liquid, tuna, and vegetables mix well with the sauce, so use a spoon!
STEP 3/4
It's better if you use a hot pot. Spread tuna seasoning on bottom of hot pot. Place tofu lightly on top of it. Put the seasoning back on the tofu. You just have to make sure that the tofu has all the seasoning. Put the tofu on top of the tuna sauce and place the last remaining tuna sauce evenly on top of the tofu. You have to do this so that the tofu is evenly marinated.
STEP 4/4
Pour about 1 paper cup of water and simmer until tofu is half submerged. You don't have to add a lot of water because the tofu itself has water. When the water starts to run out, leave the lid open for a few minutes, cover it, and boil it for about 5 minutes. If you open the lid, ta-da! Finished braised tuna tofu. It's easy! It's easy!
When you cook braised tofu, they usually grill tofu in a pan. I think that makes the tofu harder. But I made the sauce right away without baking tofu. It was better because the tuna sauce was cut into the tofu and the tofu was soft. When I mix soft and spicy tofu with rice, it disappears in a blink of an eye. I was on a diet, so I mixed half a bowl of carrot rice with braised tuna tofu.
