Cooking Steps
STEP 1/6
Shred the squid, and finely chop the garlic and green onion.
STEP 2/6
Mix squid, green onions, garlic, egg yolk, flour, and water (10g) to make a round shape.
STEP 3/6
Fry karaage in 180 oil.
STEP 4/6
Remove the skin of the tomatoes and chop them into small.
STEP 5/6
Boil chopped tomatoes, vinegar, sugar, water (50g), red pepper powder, and starch in a pot to make chili sauce.
STEP 6/6
Finish with chili sauce on squid karaage.
We used tomatoes instead of ketchup to reduce sodium.
