Prepare the trimmed eel.

Use a kitchen towel to wipe off the sticky liquid on the eel.

After making a slight cut on the eel, lay a paper foil on the air fryer and lay the eel down neatly.

Sprinkle with salt.

Bake air fryer 170 degrees for about 15 minutes.

Flip it over and bake for another 5 minutes.

Cut it into bite-size pieces with scissors.

Make the sauce and spread it over the well-cooked eel.

If you bake the air fryer at 170 degrees for an additional 5 minutes, it's done.
When you grill eel with an air fryer, the skin of the eel is crispy and the eel meat is cooked smoothly.
