STEP 1/10
Put 300g of rice cake in a bowl and cast it with your hands, then rinse it three times by changing the water.
STEP 2/10
Soak the washed rice cake in warm water for 10-15 minutes (soak the rice cake in water can shorten the time for the rice cake to ripen)/If you soak it in cold water, soak it for a long time.)
STEP 3/10
Cut 180g of cabbage into bite-size pieces, and 5 pieces of square fish cake
Cut it into bite-size pieces regardless of shape.
Slice 45g of green onion and prepare 2 boiled eggs.
STEP 4/10
Put 1 liter of water, 3 tablespoons of dark soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of red pepper paste, and 1 tablespoon of red pepper powder in a pot, and stir it with a spoon to mix the seasoning evenly, and boil it over high gas heat.
STEP 5/10
When it boils up, add cabbage and green onion, stir it, and boil it.
STEP 6/10
When the soup boils up, add the soaked rice cakes, fish cakes, and boiled eggs, toss them, and boil them.
STEP 7/10
When the soup boils up, change the heat to medium and boil it down for 10-15 minutes.
STEP 8/10
In the middle of the pot, boil it down by stirring it 2-3 times so that the rice cake does not stick.
STEP 9/10
Boil it for about 13 minutes, taste it, and add additional liver to taste. (If it is bland, add or boil it down, and if you feel less soup, add water and boil it a little more.)
To check if the rice cake is cooked, press the rice cake slightly with a spoon or try it.)
STEP 10/10
If the rice cake is soft and the amount of soup is enough, turn off the gas stove and sprinkle sesame seeds, and you're done making tteokbokki with soup.
It was ambiguous when I tasted the seasoning soup at first, but if you boil it with the ingredients, it will reduce the taste of the tteokbokki soup, so don't season it too hard from the beginning.
If you like Garae rice cake, try making Tteokbokki with Garae rice cake.
Cabbage gets smaller when it's cooked, so I think it's good to increase the amount.
