STEP 1/6
Wash 6 chestnut sweet potatoes by rubbing them with your hands under running water.
STEP 2/6
Cut both ends of the sweet potato.
STEP 3/6
Put 800-900ml of water in a pot, steam it, put the washed sweet potatoes one by one, close the lid, and boil it over high heat.
STEP 4/6
When the steam starts to come out of the lid, change the heat to medium and boil it for 25-30 minutes. (For medium-sized sweet potatoes, boil it for about 25 minutes/for about 30 minutes for large sweet potatoes.)
STEP 5/6
When the timer rings, turn off the gas and leave the lid closed for 2-3 minutes before opening the lid.
STEP 6/6
After taking a break, poke the sweet potato with chopsticks and gently push it in, and the sweet potato is well cooked.
Carefully transfer hot sweet potatoes to a bowl and you're done steaming them deliciously.
When you boil sweet potatoes, the time to boil them may vary depending on the size and amount of sweet potatoes.
Don't eat boiled sweet potatoes right away, cool them down and eat them with milk.
It's good to add milk and honey to 1-2 sweet potatoes, grind them in a mixer, and eat them as sweet potato smoothies.
