STEP 1/9
Clean the abalone with a kitchen brush.
STEP 2/9
Use a spoon to remove the abalone shell and separate the abalone flesh and intestines.
STEP 3/9
I grilled three abalones and put them on top of the rice. I cut one with a dice and put it in the rice.
You can make the ratio as you want.
STEP 4/9
Put the abalone intestines in a pot (stone pot) and cut them with scissors.
Abalone is said to have more nutrients in the intestines than meat.
Abalone porridge or abalone rice is good because you can cook it with enough intestines.
STEP 5/9
Add 1 tablespoon sesame oil and stir-fry the abalone intestines.
You have to stir-fry the abalone intestines to remove the fishy taste, so stir-fry them gently over medium heat so that they don't burn.
Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, then add 1 cup of soaked rice and stir-fry.
STEP 6/9
When the rice is fried thickly, pour 1 cup of water.
I used 4 abalones and 1 cup of soaked rice.
4 servings of abalone is enough to cook rice with 2 cups of soaked rice.
STEP 7/9
Pour water and cook rice with abalone cut with dice.
When the lid is covered and the steam comes up, lower the heat to medium low, boil it for about 15 minutes, and wait for about 10 minutes to cook rice.
STEP 8/9
While cooking rice, bake the sliced abalone in butter until golden.
Add 1 piece of butter and bake until golden brown and keep aside for a while.
STEP 9/9
The rice is ready.
I put in a lot of abalone intestines, so the color got really dark.
Children may not like it, but the rice with a lot of abalone intestines tastes better for adults.
