STEP 1/9
I brought out a potato.
I also brought bacon from the freezer.
I also brought a bunch of fresh onions at home.
STEP 2/9
Peel the potatoes and onions and prepare them.
My kid doesn't really like onions, so today's strategy is to hide them secretly in a lot of potatoes.
I used about a quarter of the onion.
STEP 3/9
Slice the potatoes thinly.
STEP 4/9
Chop it up and prepare it
Soak it in water.
You have to remove starch a little to make stir-fried potatoes that are not sticky and have a lively texture.
STEP 5/9
I also cut the bacon and onions according to the size of the potato.
STEP 6/9
Heat up the wok
Please put some oil on it.
STEP 7/9
I'll saute the drained potatoes with a sieve first.
Even if there's a bit of water left, you can fry it and remove it, so don't worry.
STEP 8/9
I'm going to fry it quickly over high heat.
If you stir-fry it for 30 seconds or a minute, you can see that the potato turns slightly transparent.
When you think, "Oh, it's becoming transparent," you put in other ingredients.
STEP 9/9
I added onions and bacon.
You can stir-fry it.
It's salty because it's pork with bacon.
You don't need to season it separately because of the bacon, so try it and sprinkle a little bit of salt if it's not enough.
Potatoes, onions, and bacon go so well together.
If you stick to starch, the texture decreases, and it's very good because it's removed once and stir-fried.
The child who doesn't like onions ate it deliciously, too.
It's so delicious even if you add spam instead of bacon.
It's great that the texture and color come alive even if you add a little bit of carrot.
If you want to make side dishes simply, I highly recommend it!
