Today, I came here with a recipe for how to make Mianbao Xia, a fried dish. You can think of it as Chinese fried eggplant.^^ Menbosha made of bread has a good crispy texture. The eggplant menbosha I'm introducing today is the same fried dish, but the eggplant is chewy and the shrimp is chewy.

Cooking Steps

I prepared bell peppers, green onions, and carrots for the color and texture of Mianbao Xia

Chop it into small pieces.

Cut the eggplant into 7mm thick pieces.

Prepare starch and bread crumbs.

Rinse frozen shrimp in cold water and strain it through a sieve.

Sprinkle a little salt on the front of the eggplant and pickle it for 3 to 4 minutes and remove moisture with a paper towel. Do the same for the back. And thinly coat with starch.

When making mianbao xia, the temperature of the oil should not be as high as regular fries. I put in five at first, but it turned golden brown, so I lowered it to low heat.
