Making steamed cheese eggs seasoned with salted shrimp
I made steamed cheese eggs that can be easily made as a side dish. It's steamed eggs that have a savory taste with cheese.

  • brewed soy sauce

  • Cheddar cheese

  • cooking wine

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/11
Place 4 eggs in an earthen pot and pour about 120ml of water.
STEP 2/11
Add 1/3T of salted shrimp.
STEP 3/11
Add 1T of brewed soy sauce and mix well.
STEP 4/11
Chop green onions and mix them in egg water.
STEP 5/11
Add 1T of cooking wine to catch the fishy taste of the egg and mix well.
STEP 6/11
Prepare 2 sheets of cheddar cheese, then add one sheet to the egg wash first.
STEP 7/11
Place the earthen pot on the gas stove and bring to a boil over medium low heat. It's better to keep stirring with chopsticks so that it doesn't stick to the floor. Melt the cheese well.

When the steamed cheese egg starts to cook, add a little bit of sesame oil and stir quickly.
STEP 9/11
When steamed eggs are 80% cooked, reduce the heat to low, then add cheddar cheese and add the green onions left earlier.
STEP 10/11
Then immediately close the lid and cook for about 2 minutes. And let it simmer for about a minute after turning off the heat.
