Cooking Steps
STEP 1/6
Pour water into perilla seeds in a generous bowl. Perilla seeds float up and foreign substances (stone, sand) sink to the bottom.
STEP 2/6
Pour the perilla seeds slowly into the strainer. And remove the remaining debris. Repeat this process 2-3 times.
STEP 3/6
Wash the perilla seeds in the tray cleanly. Rinse it slowly under running water and remove the water as much as possible
STEP 4/6
Preheat the frying pan over high heat and stir-fry perilla seeds.
STEP 5/6
Keep frying perilla seeds. Stir-fry it a little bit, turn it down to medium-low heat, and stir-fry it until it makes a tartar sound. After rubbing the sesame seeds, if the skin is peeled well, it's stir-fried well
STEP 6/6
Grind the cooled perilla seeds using a blender or mortar. If you want fine perilla powder, sift it once or twice to complete the perilla powder. :)
