Cooking Steps
STEP 1/4
First, shred the potatoes into thin slices
The thinner the potatoes, the shorter the cooking time
Season the shredded potatoes with salt and pepper and mix
Starch will stick together, so don't soak it in water
If you think Rosti is going to separate from each other while making it
Add half a tablespoon of potato starch
STEP 2/4
Bake the bacon on low heat for about 2 minutes, feeling like it's getting rid of the oil.
STEP 3/4
Place potatoes on top of bacon.
In the same way, cook it over low heat, and turn it upside down while looking at the condition as if you are cooking the insides.
The thinner the potato, the faster it cooks.
If you think it will be difficult to flip it, you can overlap the same-sized frying pan or flip it over through a plate and put it back on top.
In my case, it took about 10 minutes for each sheet based on the thickness of 0.5cm
If you want it to be more crispy and flavorful, add a little bit of butter when both sides are cooked and the outside is well fixed
STEP 4/4
Depending on your preference, it's better to sprinkle poached eggs, Sunny Side Up, and Pecorino Romano cheese
You have to be careful when you flip Rosti. If you fail, you'll be able to see a weird visual, not Rosti
