Cooking Steps
STEP 1/8
Add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and 1 tablespoon of starch powder to 100ml of water
STEP 2/8
Stir it well
STEP 3/8
Place dumplings neatly in a frying pan over medium heat.
I made it a bite-sized dumpling, but any dumpling for fried dumplings is fine.
STEP 4/8
After 30 seconds, add starch water
STEP 5/8
Cover and bake until starchy water subsides.
I grilled it for 8 minutes.
You can open the lid in the middle and check it a couple of times.
STEP 6/8
The dumplings are well-done
STEP 7/8
Place the bottom of the dumplings on a plate with the bottom up.
It's crispy on one side!
STEP 8/8
The other side is moist.
It tastes better if you dip it in sweet and sour soy sauce with plum extract and dark soy sauce.
Snowflake dumplings in Jongwon Baek are very good because they don't splash oil when you grill them. Cover over medium heat and bake until starchy water subsides.
