Please prepare the ingredients for the rice with grilled eel

Cut the vegetables for the broth.
Prepare most of the scallions and cut them in half vertically.

Cut the chili pepper into big pieces

You can add 1/4 of the onion as is, but I cut it about twice.

Bring all the prepared sauce ingredients to a boil in a pot.

When it boils a little bit, lower the heat to low and simmer for another 10 minutes.

Grill the eel in the pan from the skin side

Pour the prepared sauce over the eel and boil it down over low heat

Cut the boiled eel into bite-sized pieces.
