Cooking Steps
STEP 1/12
First, prepare two 900ml of milk and two 150ml of fermented milk after concentration and leave it at room temperature for about an hour. At this time, low-fat, functional milk is avoided because yogurt is not made well, and lactobacillus is bulgaris and activia. Please use products marked as thick fermented milk such as Bifeders.

Our electric rice cooker has a function to make yogurt, so we set it for 7 hours.
If the rice cooker doesn't have a yogurt function, you can keep it warm for an hour and a half and leave it for about 8 hours to make yogurt.

Heat the milk four to five times a minute in the microwave (just warm when touching the milk)

Cover the cotton cloth, close the microwave, and leave it for about 9 hours. In the summer, when the room temperature exceeds 25 degrees Celsius, I mixed a bulgaris with 900ml milk, left it at room temperature, and woke up overnight, and yogurt was made. I think it would be good to choose a convenient method depending on the situation

After setting up the yogurt function in the electric rice cooker before going to bed, plain yogurt was completed 7 hours later.
STEP 9/12
When I scoop it up with a ladle, it feels like soft tofu. The finished plain yogurt is used to make the next yogurt instead of bulgaris. It's good to add 200g of yogurt to 900ml of milk.

If you keep it cold, it becomes harder.
If you put the finished yogurt in a cotton cloth and remove the whey for more than 2 hours, it becomes a Greek yogurt.

You can use a coffee filter to make a small amount of Greek yogurt.
