Remove the top of the walnut, cut it in half, and remove the seeds.

Place walnuts on top of half-cut dried persimmons.
If there's too much dried persimmon, you can just scratch it off with a knife, but I just rolled it right away.

I think wrapping is necessary only when you make a large amount of overlap. When making a small amount like this, the shape is fixed even if you just roll it and cut it. (You can skip the wrapping process.)
