Cooking Steps
STEP 1/11
Take out 7 medium shrimp and defrost them. If you want to bring vegetables, you can also prepare bok choy or chopped cabbage
*Vegetables can be omitted
STEP 2/11
You can buy rice cake and use it. If you make it yourself, put 60g of rice powder, 60g of starch powder, 1T of sugar, and 0.5t of salt in a bowl
*You can use flour instead of rice powder to make flour rice cake
STEP 3/11
Pour 75g of hot water into a pot and stick it together with a spoon
STEP 4/11
Clump it together with a spoon and knead it with your hands when it cools a little.

Put 1cm of hot water in a rice cooker
STEP 6/11
Add the steamer and place the rice cake batter in a long shape. Steamed rice cake for 20 minutes.
*Steamer in my pot for 6 people

*For the rice cakes you bought, skip the process and blanch them in the pot to make them soft

Cut the steamed rice cake into tteokbokki pieces and put it in a rice cooker
STEP 9/11
Add defrosted shrimp, add 8T of teriyaki sauce, 2T of water, and reheat for 9 minutes
STEP 10/11
Turn it upside down and season with 1T of sesame oil
STEP 11/11
Sprinkle sesame seeds and teriyaki sauce tteokbokki is done
*I like beef instead of shrimp. Heat it up for 9 minutes. When it's not fully cooked, heat it up for 9 minutes again
