Cooking Steps
STEP 1/6
I prepared two pieces of Don Mahawk. Wipe the blood off with a kitchen towel and make cuts.
STEP 2/6
Make sure to cut the part with the fat.
STEP 3/6
Sprinkle plenty of salt and pepper back and forth. I used truffle salt, but regular salt is fine.
STEP 4/6
Prepare the oil so that 1/3 of the thickness of the meat is submerged and cook the meat.
I used grape seed oil. Other cooking oil is fine.
STEP 5/6
You have to cook the fat part like this.
STEP 6/6
The inside is almost cooked only when the outside is burnt.
Spread the butter when it is almost done.
Just because the outside is burnt doesn't mean the inside is burnt. This meat is thick, so it will be cooked by the time you worry about the outside. If you don't get the hang of it, cut it with a knife when you think it's cooked (Please refer to the video at the top)
