Cooking Steps
STEP 1/18
Please prepare the ingredients first.
I bought the squid that was already trimmed.
If it's not trimmed, please trim it first.
STEP 2/18
Peel the squid, wash it, make a tight cut on the belly, and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
Wash the squid and drain it.
STEP 3/18
Please trim the vegetables.
Slice the garlic, and slice all the remaining vegetables slightly smaller than the size of the baby's nail.
Chop the chives for garnish.
STEP 4/18
Dip sliced garlic in cold water for about 10 minutes to remove the arin taste.
STEP 5/18
Please make the sauce.
Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 3 tablespoons of cooking wine, 2 tablespoons of vinegar, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, a little ginger powder, and a little pepper and mix well.
STEP 6/18
Remove garlic and dab it with a kitchen towel to remove moisture.
STEP 7/18
Pour 3 tablespoons of cooking oil into the pan and fry the garlic until golden brown enough not to burn.
STEP 8/18
Please make dough clothes in a bowl.
Add 1 egg, 1/2 cup starch and 1/3 cup frying powder and mix well.
STEP 9/18
Mix squid into batter and coat with batter.
STEP 10/18
Pour only enough oil into a pan or pan to cover the squid and raise the oil temperature to about 170 degrees Celsius.
STEP 11/18
Reduce heat to medium, add squid and fry until golden.
It will take about a minute to fry.
STEP 12/18
Remove the fried squid, cool it down, raise the oil temperature again after a while, and fry the squid one more time.
This time, it's fried quickly in 30 seconds.
STEP 13/18
Add a little more cooking oil to the frying pan of garlic and stir-fry green onions, dried peppers, and cheongyang peppers.
STEP 14/18
When the spicy scent comes up, add the seasoning sauce and boil it.
STEP 15/18
When the sauce boils up, add the fried squid and toss quickly before the sauce boils down.
STEP 16/18
Remove from heat and add 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil and stir once.
STEP 17/18
Put it on a plate and garnish with chives and sesame seeds, and squid kkanpunggi made of squid is complete.
STEP 18/18
