STEP 1/12
If you soak chestnuts in warm water, it becomes a little easier to peel them.
STEP 2/12
After about an hour, remove only the outer skin of the chestnut.
Add water and baking soda and soak chestnuts for about half a day.
STEP 3/12
Put the chestnuts that have been left for about half a day in a pot and boil over medium heat.
Remove bubbles from boiling water.
STEP 4/12
Boil over medium-low heat for another 20 minutes, then rinse in cold water.
Be careful not to peel.
STEP 5/12
Repeat this process two more times
STEP 6/12
At the end, remove the thick lead
Scrub the fine hairs in the water carefully.
STEP 7/12
Choose chestnuts that remain intact and cook them at night.
Pour enough water to cover the chestnut at night that remains intact.
Add sugar and salt and bring to a boil.
Boil for about 20 minutes.
STEP 8/12
Boil until the syrup is watery,
Finally, add rum.
STEP 9/12
Put it in a sterilized bottle.
It is recommended that syrup completely moistens the chestnut.
STEP 10/12
Spread boils the remaining syrup and the remaining pieces of chestnut.
If you do this, the sweet taste gets stronger
If you don't like it, I recommend you don't boil it down and grind it with a little sugar.
STEP 11/12
Use a blender and grind it finely to complete the spread
STEP 12/12
Spread it on a loaf of toast
You can drink it with milk :)
Please refer to the recipe, but it would be better to adjust the amount of sugar or how to make the spread according to your taste.
