STEP 1/10
It's pork belly that I cut into thin slices to grill and put in the freezer.
I prepared it after defrosting the pork belly.
STEP 2/10
I spread the pork belly on a deep and wide pan and spread it on the floor.
And I put old kimchi on top of it.
I covered it with enough kimchi to cover the pork belly.
If there is sour kimchi, I always make kimchi jjigae or stir-fried kimchi, and sometimes it's delicious even if I make kimchi jjim.
STEP 3/10
And I added oligosaccharide. I put 0.5 spoon of oligosaccharide because kimchi is not that sour.
And I added a spoon of red pepper powder.
STEP 4/10
Then, cover it with a lid and boil it over medium heat for a while.
STEP 5/10
If you hear a little sizzling sound, open the lid,
Stir-fry thoroughly so that the seasoning is evenly soaked.
STEP 6/10
If it's well-fried, add a little water.
I added a little bit of the ingredients to make it soft.
Personally, I like the feeling of braised kimchi with a little soup more than the thick feeling, so I put it in like that.
Then cover again and cook over medium heat.
STEP 7/10
It smells so savory and spicy! The delicious smell of braised kimchi that I like came up.
STEP 8/10
When I opened the lid, steamed pork kimchi was made well with the amount of soup I wanted. The kimchi was well cooked, and it looked more delicious because it was seasoned well with pork belly.
STEP 9/10
Ta-da! Steamed kimchi made with chewy and soft pork belly! Steamed pork and kimchi is done. It's so nice that it has all the kimchi and meat that I like.
It's a simple steamed pork kimchi. When I put pork belly in the dish, it tasted even better thanks to the meat.
STEP 10/10
It was so delicious to put half-boiled eggs on the rice, pop the yolk, add kimchi and pork, and mix it.
The combination of kimchi and pork is really love! :)
I ate one and a half more bowls of rice without needing any other side dishes.
Try making delicious braised kimchi with pork belly.
