STEP 1/8
First, add as much water as you want to make beef pork belly kimchi stew. Since I drink a lot of soup, I added about 3 cups of water. And put in the beef belly right away.
I defrosted and used the beef samgyupsal I put in a day ago. And then boil it.
STEP 2/8
Can you see it? Even if you boil it with water, the oil comes out of it.
When I eat beef pork belly doenjang jjigae, I was disappointed because I removed too much oil, so I'm going to leave it as it is this time.
The oil from this pork belly gives it a deep taste.

STEP 3/8
When the oil comes up and starts to boil, boil it for another 10 minutes. And put in the sour kimchi.
STEP 4/8
When the kimchi stew boils, add 1 spoon of minced garlic. Also, I added 1 spoon of red pepper powder to enhance the spicy taste and color.
STEP 5/8
Now continue to boil.
I think kimchi stew tastes better the more you boil it.
If you think it's a little bland or insufficient after tasting it, add kimchi soup. I don't put a lot of seasoning in the kimchi stew, but I only boil it with kimchi, so I put in the kimchi soup and kept boiling it.
STEP 6/8
I kept boiling it and when the kimchi was fully cooked, I moved it to an earthen pot.
I moved only enough for one meal to an earthen pot.
I like eating hot in an earthen pot.
I put it in an earthen pot and sliced green onions.
STEP 7/8
Beef pork belly kimchi stew is done.
I ate it in an earthen pot with just enough food, so it was good to eat it without rice. It was even more delicious because the oil came out of the beef pork belly and it became a thick broth.
STEP 8/8
It's a perfect combination to eat beef pork belly kimchi stew on top of boiled egg sauce and mixed rice. It was so delicious.
I always ate pork kimchi stew, but I think beef pork belly kimchi stew, which can be used in various ways, would be great.
