STEP 1/12
First, wash the potatoes thoroughly and prepare them. After peeling, rinse the peeled potatoes again with water.
STEP 2/12
Cut cleanly rinsed potatoes into appropriate sizes because they will be put in a blender. The regular size potatoes are about 1/6, and the small potatoes are 1/4 the size of 1/8, so cut them into a size that can be easily ground in a blender.
STEP 3/12
Now I'm going to grind the potatoes in a blender. I don't need water or salt. I just need to put in the potatoes
STEP 4/12
I put in 5 medium-sized potatoes and ground them. In order not to become too watery, if all the potatoes you could see are gone, please switch them off before they pass too long.
STEP 5/12
It's well-grounded, but we're not making potato pancakes right away. You need to strain it through a sieve. I said I could just skip it, but I used a cotton swab
STEP 6/12
Place a sieve on a bowl, place a cloth on top of it, and pour out all the ground potatoes.
STEP 7/12
And like making ricotta cheese, tie up the cotton cloth once and leave it like this for 15 to 20 minutes.
STEP 8/12
Then the starch water is filtered out like this, and you can't see it in this picture, but there's starch water under the water in the bowl. If you add starch water, filtered potatoes, starch powder, and a little salt, you can make potato pancake batter
STEP 9/12
I added 1T spoon of flavored salt and 4 spoons of starch based on 5 potatoes. If it feels a bit stiff, you can add more ground potato water that was filtered in the bowl.
STEP 10/12
Now that the dough is done, I'll make delicious potato pancakes. Before frying potato pancakes, I ground pepper on top of the batter
STEP 11/12
First, put oil on the frying pan, preheat it, and then put the potato pancake batter on top. I used to make fried eggs on the pan. It looks nice and nice
STEP 12/12
I added red pepper garnish as a point. When frying, add plenty of oil and set the heat to medium high so that it is not too high. The dough itself wasn't thin, so it wasn't hard to flip. I think it takes about 10 minutes from the dough to the frying pan
If you want to make potato pancake crispy, you can drain more water when you make potato pancake batter. If you want to make it moist and sticky, you can make the dough watery.
