STEP 1/7
I'm working on the lotus root.
Wash the dirt off the surface
Peel the skin with a filler.
STEP 2/7
You can use a chopping knife
Slice thinly with a knife.
*Be careful with your hands because it's hard.
STEP 3/7
I cut it as thin as possible
Slice lotus root
After soaking it in water, add 3 or 4 drops of vinegar
Let stand for about 10 minutes.
STEP 4/7
I'll fry it in oil
Drain completely.
STEP 5/7
Sprinkle with a little salt and starch.
You don't have to make it thick
You can put it on and shake it off.
STEP 6/7
Put some cooking oil in the pan
Put it in one at a time.
It's thin, so it cooks quickly
When it starts to brown, remove it.
If it's golden and you take it out
It's cooked with residual heat
If it's golden brown
Take it out and put it on a sieve.
STEP 7/7
Put it on the fryer
Remove the oil and let it cool down
crisp throughout
Fried lotus root. Lotus root chip complete :)
You can fry it and sprinkle it with salt
to one's liking.
You have to cut it as thin as possible
When it's fried, the crunchy texture comes out
If you add a bit of salt
You can eat it like french fries when it's fried.
