Nurungji bingsu using Cham Dream rice
Using our variety of Chamdream rice, we made nurungji bingsu that can be easily enjoyed at home in hot summer. Chamdream rice is developed as Korean native rice and is characterized by a savory taste of rice.

Ingredients
  • Rice
    1cup
  • Water
    1cup
  • Milk

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/8
Cook rice and water in a 1:1 ratio. I used Cham Dream rice.
STEP 2/8
Freeze milk while cooking rice. If you use a shaved ice machine, it doesn't matter how you freeze it, but if you use a rolling pin or a spoon to make frozen milk, you can break it more easily by freezing it thinly in a plastic pack.
STEP 3/8
When the rice is done, make nurungji. If you grill nurungji on a low heat, it becomes crispy nurungji.
STEP 4/8
When the nurungji is complete, let it cool in the freezer.
STEP 5/8
Crush the frozen milk while cooling the nurungji.
STEP 6/8
The cold breaks the nurungji.
STEP 7/8
Put crushed frozen milk and crushed nurungji in a bowl.
STEP 8/8
If you want more ingredients, you can add them :) We added red beans and cocktail fruits. I added nurungji that wasn't crushed as decoration.
