#Budaejjigae meal kit #Budaejjigae #Using leftover food #Using l
I used the budae jjigae meal kit to make it simple over the weekend, I added more ham, which was a lacking ingredient, and they boiled it with baked beans. I used the leftover beef radish soup as a broth. Since there was no Minchi in the wheat kit I bought, I thought the meat in the beef radish soup would play a part. I used it because I thought the broth would be much stronger and better. They also put stir-fried ham and kimchi in it. Use the remaining side dishes or soup to try a better budae jjigae as a meal kit ^^

    963g
  • canned ham
    1can
  • Baked Bean
    3TS
  • Ham

  • Broth
    800ml
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/6
I used the beef radish soup as the broth was left. It has radish in it and beef in it, so I think it will make it taste better.
STEP 2/6
And interestingly, there's bean sprouts in it. I'll have the sauce. But there was no baked bean paste that was the most important in budae jjigae. It tastes like budae-jjigae with baked beans. So I prepared baked beans and canned ham separately.
STEP 3/6
Boil the beef radish soup with scallions and onions.
STEP 4/6
When it boils, add various kinds of ham. I cut the ham and canned ham in the meal kit and put it in. Add the important baked beans and boil them over high heat. After stir-fried ham and kimchi, I put it in because it was left over. There's ham in it and kimchi is stir-fried, so I think it'll make the taste stronger. I added it because I thought it would go well with budae jjigae rather than just kimchi. I cleaned everything up without any leftover food.
STEP 5/6
When it boils up, add bean sprouts and boil it. It's already boiled enough and the broth is boiled, so it only needs to boil two or three times. If the bean sprouts are overcooked, they lose their breath and become tasteless.
STEP 6/6
The rich taste of soup from various hams, the taste of cool bean sprouts, and the occasional taste of chewed beef are also good. Lastly, put the cheese on top and boil it again, and it's done with budae-jjjigae is done.
