Making braised tofu

Ingredients
  • Tofu
    300g
  • onion
    1/2ea
  • Water
    180ml
  • Red pepper powder
    1TS
  • Sugar
    1/2TS
  • Soy sauce
    3TS
  • cooking wine
    1TS
  • crushed garlic
    1/2TS
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/7
Cut tofu into bite-size pieces and drain using kitchen towels.
STEP 2/7
Mix red pepper powder, sugar, soy sauce, cooking wine, and minced garlic to make the sauce in advance.
STEP 3/7
Cover a frying pan with plenty of perilla oil.
STEP 4/7
Place tofu on medium low heat and fry until golden brown.
STEP 5/7
Add water, please.
STEP 6/7
Add the marinade and chopped onions.
STEP 7/7
Turn the tofu upside down and boil down the sauce.
