Tteokbokki is delicious only when you make it according to the quantity, but when you buy ingredients at home and make them, there are always little left, but the expiration date is short, so you often throw them away. I made delicious sotteok sotteok using the remaining sotteok.

Cooking Steps

You can choose the ham to suit your taste, but cut it in size with the ham if possible. Fry 1 cup rice cake and 1 cup ham (1 to 1) in oil for about 3 minutes. Make sure to use a cover because rice cakes can get splattered when frying in oil!!

3 spoons of sugar - 1 spoon of dark soy sauce - 2 spoons of ketchup - 1/2 spoon of red pepper paste - Add 1/3 cup of water and boil it over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes ~

Place fried ham and rice cake on a plate
If you want to use wooden skewers, you can make skewers at this time. I decided to just eat it like this.

If you put the sotteok sotteok sauce on top, you're done making sotteok sotteok. It tastes good even if you cut the perilla leaves into small pieces and eat them together.
When you fry rice cakes in oil, the rice cakes can splash!! Make sure to cover and cook!!
