Cooking Steps
STEP 1/16
Add the base stock ingredients to 5.5 cups (1100ml) of water and simmer for about 30 minutes
I used only the ingredients I had
STEP 2/16
Make enough seasoning
STEP 3/16
Wash the steamed bean sprouts after preparing them
Please take off the bean sprouts
STEP 4/16
Prepare one large dried pollack and two medium sized ones to cut off the head and tail
I had nothing to prepare because I used the dried pollack salad at home
STEP 5/16
Soak dried pollack in water
Leave the scale down and soak the bottom in water for about 2 minutes
STEP 6/16
Cut the dried pollack into large pieces and remove the thorns
Cut it into 1/3 the size of my hand
STEP 7/16
Chop water parsley, chili pepper, and green onion and make starch water (starch 2T + water 2T)
Lee Jong-im, a culinary researcher, said that if you put the leaves of the water parsley in the steamer, it will look like it's going to be short of breath and messy, so I prepared it for you because I wanted to put it on top before serving it
STEP 8/16
Add the dried pollack to the stock (500ml) and bring to a boil
STEP 9/16
Add seasoning and mix well
STEP 10/16
Add bean sprouts, put the lid on and boil for 5 minutes
If you open the lid in the middle, it may smell fishy, so do not open the lid until the bean sprouts are fully cooked!
STEP 11/16
Add water parsley, green onions, and red pepper and mix them well
STEP 12/16
Pour starch water and adjust the concentration
STEP 13/16
Lastly, add sesame oil and sesame seeds
STEP 14/16
As I said before, I put water parsley leaves on top. It played a part in the pretty visuals, but it was even better because the scent of water parsley doubled
STEP 15/16
I used dried pollack to break the meat
If it's for serving guests, please use dried pollack
STEP 16/16
I dipped a dried pollack in soy sauce with bean sprouts and water parsley, and it felt like steamed monkfish.
Enjoy your meal :-)
If you're going to eat it lightly with your family, it doesn't matter if it's dried pollack like me, but there's a lot of dried pollack that comes out Please use dried pollack when making it for guests
