STEP 1/9
It's a living whelk.
I was wondering how to eat this whelk, so I decided to cook and eat it easily.
STEP 2/9
Wash the whelk first
I put it in cold water and wiped it with my hands.
Wash it in cold water about three times
STEP 3/9
To express the size, I compared it to the grass that was around.
(The big one is similar to the length of the glue.)
STEP 4/9
Boil the well-washed whelk with soju and thick salt
Boil over high heat for 20 minutes, turn off the heat, and simmer for 10 minutes without opening the lid
STEP 5/9
Rinse the boiled whelks well in running water.
STEP 6/9
Please remove the whelk from the whelk shell.
It comes off easily when you use tongs to turn it in the direction of the shell.
STEP 7/9
The black part that comes out behind the whelk is the intestines, so please remove that part and cut the flesh into small pieces.
STEP 8/9
The sea snail sashimi is complete.
If you add a little wasabi to the red pepper paste, you'll be able to make a very delicious dish.
STEP 9/9
I dipped it in wasabi sauce.
The soft ones are very delicious.
When boiling in water, add soju and thick salt for 20 minutes,
If you boil it for 10 minutes, it doesn't smell and makes delicious whelk sashimi.
