Don't grill it on high heat

I didn't stick it on a skewer. I just grilled it on a pan and mixed it with sweet teriyaki sauce

Defrosted or uncooked rice cakes are fine, but you can't use frozen rice cakes
Even if you defrost it in a microwave or soak it in water right away
It's hard to stick it on skewers because the texture is ruined and mushy
