Cooking Steps
STEP 1/4
Mix red pepper paste, ground garlic, ketchup, ginger syrup, grain syrup, and pepper in a bowl.
(If you don't have ginger, add a little bit of chopped ginger.)
*When I added grain syrup, it was sweet even without sugar.
STEP 2/4
Grill pork belly lightly on a heated pan with pepper and place it on a kitchen towel to drain the oil.
*Pork belly needs to be seasoned, so I can squeeze it later, so I just put pepper on it and grilled it.
STEP 3/4
Cut the pork belly according to the length of the rice cake
Apply the seasoning carefully after inserting the pork belly, rice cake, and Vienna sausage in order.
STEP 4/4
If you stick it on a skewer, grill it over medium-low heat without oiling it and not to burn.
If you don't like pork belly with a lot of oil, you can make it with pork neck or chicken leg meat like chicken skewers.
