It's perfect for this weather!! The basics of pot rice - mussel
As the weather gets colder, I think I see a lot of mussels. Before it's too late, I tried mussel rice with mussels. Add shiitake mushrooms and mussel rice with the flavor of shiitake!! It's perfect with the chives sauce

  • Mussels
    1cup
  • white rice
    2cup
  • Shiitake mushroom
    2ea
  • leek
    1/3pack
  • crushed garlic
    1T
  • leek
    1handful
  • Cheongyang red pepper
    1ea
  • Red pepper powder
    2T
  • Red pepper
    1ea
  • Sugar
    1T
  • Sesame oil
    2T
  • Sesame

  • Soy sauce
    1/2cup

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/5
Soak the rice and cut the shiitake into small pieces. (I used dried shiitake mushrooms to soak it in the fire in advance.)
STEP 2/5
Put soaked rice/pepper mushrooms/mussels in a pot and add water equivalent to rice.
STEP 3/5
Cover and start boiling over medium heat.
STEP 4/5
Finely chop all chives/chilies/green onions.
Add all the spices above and mix well.
STEP 5/5
While making the sauce, the rice is done. Mix the mussels and shiitake well and finish.
I think it's most important to control the heat when it comes to iron pot rice. Make sure to boil it on medium heat and then adjust it to low heat. If you don't like the strong mussel scent, you can add a bit of cooking wine and cook rice
