STEP 1/11
Thaw the frozen pupa and boil it and wash it. Please throw away the boiled water.
Please prepare a handful of bean sprouts.
Cut the green onions sideways and prepare the white and blue parts.
I prepared Deepori broth for the broth, but it's okay if you only water! If you boil it too much, it'll get dry, so I just boiled it for 10 minutes.
STEP 2/11
Stir-fry to remove the smell of pupa. No oil!
There's oil in the pupa, so it's easy to stir-fry even without cooking oil.
STEP 3/11
Add white part of green onion and stir-fry together. I left the blue part.
STEP 4/11
Add a little bit of soy sauce so that the pupa is seasoned.
STEP 5/11
Stir-fry with a little mirin (or cooking wine) to remove the smell.
STEP 6/11
Stir-fry the pupa until it has a savory taste and scallion.
When it's done, add the broth.
STEP 7/11
Add some water, please.
STEP 8/11
Cover the pot and simmer for about 5 minutes.
STEP 9/11
Add the green onion and stir in.
STEP 10/11
If you don't have enough seasoning, add a little salt and boil it's done!
If you boil it too much, the bean sprouts will get tough, so I'll boil it for 2 minutes.
STEP 11/11
For those who are forbidden, add only a small amount of pepper.
Fresh and savory pupa soup is complete. Enjoy it and stay healthy.
