  • Water
  • canola oil
    3T
  • an egg white
    1ea
  • canned ham
    200g
  • Cooking oil
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/9
Warm the sweet and sour pork sauce in the microwave.
STEP 2/9
First, we need to make water starch. Add starch powder and water equivalent and stir to let stand for 2 to 3 hours. In two to three hours, the water floats up and the starch sinks down.
Pour out the water from the stomach and use only the starch that has sunk^^
STEP 3/9
Add 1 egg white and 3 spoons of oil to the starch that has been poured and stir to make batter. If you put egg whites in the batter, you can make it crispy^^
STEP 4/9
Cut the spam into flat and long pieces. It's better to cut it flat than thick^^
STEP 5/9
Mix spam in the batter you made.
STEP 6/9
It's good to pour enough oil to make the fries float, but it's my job to process the oil, so I added enough oil to cover the fries. Turn on the heat and increase the oil temperature. Put the batter in the oil and when it comes to your mind, it's the right temperature^^
STEP 7/9
Put the fried spam in the oil and fry it properly back and forth. As long as the batter is cooked, it will be fried quickly. The oil temperature rises quickly because there is little oil, so it is important to control the heat and fry it while maintaining the proper temperature
STEP 8/9
Once fried, fry spam until golden at a temperature slightly higher than the first time. (Put the heat on high heat!) Be careful because it may burn quickly as the temperature increases^^
STEP 9/9
Shake off the oil and place the fried spam on a plate. I just tried it after frying it, and it was so delicious even if I just ate the fried food without dipping it in the sauce. The batter is crispy and savory like nurungji
