Make char siu rice with smoked pork belly
One bowl of cooking, making char siu rice (using whole-hoon pork belly) It's been a while since I posted a recipe^^ Actually.. It's been a while since I made it and now I'm posting. I got smoked pork belly as a gift, and it's delicious to grill it, but I wanted to try it in a different way. So I made it into a bowl that the groom likes^^

    500ml
  • Soy sauce
    50ml

    50ml

  • Sugar
    2T
  • ground pepper
    little
  • leek
    1ea
  • onion
    1/4ea
  • bay leaf
    3piece
  • Oligosaccharide
    1T
  • an egg yolk
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/9
Frozen smoked pork belly was defrosted in the refrigerator for about a day ^^
STEP 2/9
First, bake it in a frying pan until golden brown. Move it to a wide and deep pan and boil it down with water and various seasonings
STEP 3/9
Transfer the golden brown meat to a pan and place it on top of water, soy sauce, sugar, mirin, etc. (Don't add oligosaccharide now, but add it at the end!) It's delicious if you put ginger in it. There's no ginger, so I replaced it with ginger syrup, but if you don't have ginger syrup, you can replace it with ginger^^
STEP 4/9
I put in about one root of green onion and three bay leaves in the refrigerator
STEP 5/9
Actually... The meat is fully cooked because it's smoked pork belly, so you don't have to boil it for too long, but I boiled it down for more than 30 minutes so that the seasoning can be cut better.
On high heat for about 10 minutes, medium heat for about 20 minutes!
STEP 6/9
Add a spoonful of oligosaccharide when you reduce the heat from low to low for about 10 minutes^^ It looks more delicious because it's sweet and glossy
STEP 7/9
If you cook the outside of char siu with a torch again, it's more delicious because of the fire taste^^
After I finished it, I cooked the outer part again with a torch
STEP 8/9
Slice the finished char siu as thin as possible. (I think pork rice bowls taste better when the meat is thin^^ It's easy to eat)
STEP 9/9
Sprinkle a little bit of char siu soy sauce on the well-cooked rice. Put the chopped char siu around nicely and savory egg yolk in the middle. Cut the green onions and decorate it!!

I was thinking about what to do with smoked pork belly, but I followed the recipe and ate it so deliciously. At first, I thought there was a lot of water, but it was amazing that it got tight for 30 minutes! The taste is excellent!! Thank you!
