STEP 1/8
Wash the oranges clean.
(Use thick salt, baking soda, and vinegar.)
STEP 2/8
Remove all shells.
STEP 3/8
Cut it in half and remove the orange seeds and wick from the inside.
STEP 4/8
Please buy oranges in good sizes.
STEP 5/8
Add sugar in the same 1:1 ratio as oranges.
STEP 6/8
Stir until water is formed and leave at room temperature for 1-2 hours.
STEP 7/8
Disinfect the glass bottle with hot water in the pot.
Disinfect the lid, too. (If you put the steel lid in water for a long time, disinfect it for a short time because of rust, and remove the water immediately after taking it out of the water.)
STEP 8/8
If the sugar melts, put it in a glass bottle and eat it one day at room temperature or two to three days after refrigerating. (You don't have to age for a long time because you only put the pulp in.)
- It's good to use unrefined sugar
- If you stir it often, the sugar melts quickly.
- The ratio of sugar to orange is best 1:1.
