STEP 1/9
If it's rice cake stored in the freezer, take it out and soak it in hot water before using it
It's good to blanch a little. That way, it boils fast and you can eat fast Haha
Prepare 2 cups and wash in running water.
STEP 2/9
Put 2 cooking oil in the pan
STEP 3/9
Then put the red pepper paste 2 in one place.
STEP 4/9
And stir-fry it so that the red pepper paste doesn't burn.
When it boils up and becomes thick
STEP 5/9
Put the prepared rice cake soup together and stir-fry it together.
STEP 6/9
Put sugar 1 and 3 together
For your information, it's very sweet! It's that kind of tteokbokki. So if you really don't like sweets, pass it boldly.
If you're curious, I think you can reduce the amount of sugar.
But the thing is. I think the charm of pure tteokbokki is to eat it sweet and spicy... It's sweeter than regular tteokbokki. Anyway, that's right
I think you'll know if you make this yourself. Everyone has a different taste.
At first, it was so sweet that I thought I would never make it again... As time passes, I sometimes think about it.
STEP 7/9
Add the seasoning and stir-fry it again, then add 2 cups of water.
I tasted it before adding water and it tasted exactly the same. Should I say it's the sweetness of oil tteokbokki?
STEP 8/9
Now, boil it on high heat for 5 minutes to finish.
You can complete it relatively quickly. The rice cake is thin, so the seasoning quickly gets hungry and soft.
So, never use the rice cake stored in the freezer and blanch it or soak it in hot water beforehand.
STEP 9/9
Tteokguk tteok-bokki / Pure tteok-bokki is complete ^^
