Turkish home cooking~ Stir-fried tomato eggs (Menemen)
It's a tomato that's always good to eat with a sour taste. It's going to be so good with onions and bell peppers! On top of that, it's delicious if you eat it with bread and rice.

  • cherry tomato

  • egg
    2ea
  • pepper
    1ea
  • onion
    1/2ea
  • tomato puree
    1cup
  • Chicken stock
    1t
  • Water
    70ml
  • olive oil
    2T
  • an oregano
    1t
  • Salt
    2little
  • ground pepper
    little
  • Baguette
  • instant rice
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/7
Beat in 2 eggs finely
STEP 2/7
Cut cherry tomatoes into 1/2 pieces and green pepper and onion into bite-size pieces.
STEP 3/7
Grease a preheated frying pan with olive oil, then stir-fry tomatoes, bell peppers and onions over medium heat for 7-8 minutes
STEP 4/7
Put in chicken stock and water in between. (If you put it all in, okay.)
STEP 5/7
Then add tomato puree, salt, pepper and oregano powder, cover and let stand 10 minutes over low heat.
STEP 6/7
Then, add egg water and stir it for a minute. That's it.
STEP 7/7
The finished menemen is delicious with bread or rice.
Cup = 200 cc measuring cup. T = 15cc, t = 5cc measuring spoon.
