Potato dishes, making soft potato soup
It rained all day, so I think of hot soup on cold days. It's nice to make a simple sandwich with potato spandex in the morning^^

Ingredients

  • olive oil

  • Water
    250ml
  • Milk
    250ml
  • Cheddar cheese
    1piece
  • Salt
    0.3T
  • ground pepper

  • a plain bread
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/8
Put a spoonful of olive oil in a pot and stir-fry the potatoes and onions
(I think it would be good to stir-fry onions first and then potatoes.)

Add water to cover and simmer until potatoes are cooked
I poured 250ml of water and boiled it
STEP 3/8
While the ingredients were cooking in the pot, I cut a piece of bread into cubes and baked it lightly in a frying pan without oil to make a crouton
You can use the edges of the bread, or I cut the bread at the end and baked it, so it's nice :)
STEP 4/8
When potatoes and onions are cooked, turn off the heat and grind them with a hand blender
If you don't have a hand blender, you can cool it down and grind it in a blender
STEP 5/8
Add 250ml more milk and season with salt
STEP 6/8
If you add a piece of cheddar cheese, you can make potato soup that's slightly thick and savory~
Boil it until the cheddar cheese melts and wrap it up
STEP 7/8
It's a soft potato soup made from potato dishes
I put a few pieces of baked bread croutons on top and add pepper
It's good to eat with bread in the morning

The potato soup is really soft~
I added a piece of cheddar cheese and it's a bit thick and tastes better
It's less sweet than when I made sweet potato soup, so I thought about adding sugar or not, but I ate it with a sandwich with strawberry jam, so I skipped sugar in the potato soup
It was light and soft, so I enjoyed it^^
