STEP 1/4
You have to remove the clams first You can soak it in salt water for 2-3 hours and remove it, but the clams I bought have been removed
STEP 2/4
I put 5 to 6 cups of clams and water in the pot Boil the clams until they open their mouths If you put in clams and boil it, white foam comes out. Don't be flustered and just collect it! If you take out the white foam, the soup is cleaner and looks better
STEP 3/4
When the begins to open its mouth to some extent, add the shrimp and 1 tablespoon of minced garlic and bring to a boil! Actually, I don't have to add shrimp, but I put them in because I have frozen shrimp at home, and they have a lot of ingredients and shrimp are delicious, so it was okay
STEP 4/4
Add pepper, tofu, green onions, simmer for a while, then add salt and pepper! The clams are a bit salty, so you don't have to add too much salt I think 1-2 would be enough if you put it in the house!! I have salted shrimp at home, so I added salted shrimp instead of salt!! :) The soup tastes less salty when you boil it, but after it cools down, the soup becomes more salty, so I don't think you need to put too much And I didn't add pepper If you want a clear and clean soup like me, I think it's okay to boil it without pepper
1. You don't have to add tofu or shrimp
2. Clams get tough if you boil them for too long, so it's better not to boil them for too long, so please refer to them when you boil them!
