STEP 1/12
Please prepare the ingredients.
STEP 2/12
Place eggs in bowl and pinch of salt.
STEP 3/12
Please put in 2T of the rain stream.
(If there is no milk, replace it with water)
STEP 4/12
Loosen it with chopsticks and put it down on a sieve.
(You can make a softer and cleaner steamed egg by removing the strings.)
STEP 5/12
If there are bubbles in the eggs on the sieve, pop them with chopsticks.
(You can't make a smooth shape like pudding without bubbles.)
STEP 6/12
Use a dry cloth to cover and tie the bowl to use as a lid.
(If you cover the steamed egg bowl like this, it will prevent moisture from falling and the shape will come out nicely.)
STEP 7/12
You can put it on top like this
STEP 8/12
Place a kitchen towel in a pot.
(Keep the egg bowl from shaking when the water boils.)
STEP 9/12
Pour the water into the pot, about the eggs, and place the bowl on top.
STEP 10/12
Please cover the lid you made.
(It's not in the picture, but you also need to cover the pot lid on top of it.
STEP 11/12
Steam over medium heat for 13 to 15 minutes to create a soft pudding shape.
(Open the lid for about 13 minutes, shake the bowl with chopsticks, and steam it a little more if it is not cooked.)
STEP 12/12
It's pretty if you add chives or peppers as garnish, but I skipped it because I don't have it at home. If you make it well, the shape is really pretty!
If you like to eat it a little sweeter, you can enjoy it more if you add a little sugar when you add salt!
