Very simple and easy recipe for red pepper paste: making sticky
Gochujang is our own fermented food. Even now, it is too hard and difficult to make it in a traditional way. I used grain syrup to make it easier^^

  • grain syrup
    1kg
  • Water
    800ml
  • a sun-dried salt
    7Ts
  • fine red pepper powder
    400g
  • plum extract
    200ml
  • Soju
    100ml

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/5
Boil salt in water to make salt water.
STEP 2/5
Pour salt water into the vinegar.
STEP 3/5
Mix grain syrup and salt water well and boil it once.
STEP 4/5
Remove from heat and mix with fine red pepper powder.
STEP 5/5
When it cools, add plum juice and soju.
1. The reason why I put soju is because the red pepper paste can go bad at high temperatures. 2. When the red pepper paste cools, it becomes dry, so be careful of the concentration control. 3. Store when completely cooled.
